E Reader Vs Book Reddit

E reader vs book reddit. Both have their merits i do get that. But i was just curious since i myself am very drawn to e readers these days more than ever. And the kindle isn t even really the best of the e readers since some of the other brands are just as capable.

I doubt i ll ever entirely eschew paper books particularly nice editions and things like that but for ordinary every day reading i prefer to use an e reader. Honestly i can t read paper books anymore because the letters are getting too small and i get a headache if i read too. The same ones you are likely to give up on.

The books i read are usually quite long or several parts and having them all on an ebook reader is so much more comfortable. You have a background light and can adjust letter size. They are not heavy or take up too much space.

Also i know some people are a little paranoid about the chance of virus exposure and contact that are associated with handling physical books. An e reader has more in common with the electronic devices that young people use all the time like smartphones or ipads than a paper book when it comes to turning of pages the possibilities. Reading a real book is just nicer. I like ibooks well enough as a reader on both platforms but it butchers the epub files and ensures you can t extract them once you ve added them to your library.
